The Bad	Now, a lost is a lost... Missed on 2 consecutive PP, then Nashville scored on one;
The Ugly	Lambert took a stupid double minor at the end of the 2nd. According to Predators radio, it won't be the last. 0 goals in two games.

Schwab stopped 9 of ... 10 shots on goal;
The most popular skater was Stingrays (ECHL) mascot Cool Ray during his "YMCA" routine.
Pens and Red Wings jerseys outnumbered Hurricanes sweaters
 

The Good	Good penalty killing; Great defensive play.
The Bad	Again, poor power-play: 0-for-6
The Ugly	Got there one hour before the game 'Canes' goal: Battaglia from Kapanen and Tanabe: it's going to be a long winter in Raleigh

It's bad luck to score for the thrashers; Kinnear sent to Orlando after the game!

Kept the lead against a division rival;

The Good	Every game brings a new scorer; Thrashers have more goals than any other in the Conference!

Sept. 19: Thrashers 6 – Devils 1

What you need to know :
Scorers: Karlsson, Cloutier, Ward(2), Buchberger, Ferraro;
Capitalized on every opportunities;
Maracle had a shut-out until the middle of the 3rd period;
Devils looked like a bunch of Mickey Mouse;
The crowd got what it wanted: a lot of goal, a lot of fights;
Buchberger is taking charge.
 

The Good	Showed a lot of offense and were able to take care of themselves; Rhodes saved the day.
The Bad	Too many fights; Forgot to tell the Devils that we wanted to wear our road Jerseys;
The Ugly	Lyle Odelein!; Very hard to find the time left on penalties.

Sept. 18: Thrashers 2 – Rangers 3 (OT)

What you need to know :
Scorers: Stefan, Stapleton;
PA annoucer sucked big time;
Philips will be a great home;
Slow start, got better as the game went on;;
Like the great ones, the puck seems to find Stefan.
 

The Good	Came from behind to tie the game a get the crowd going; Buchberger provides most of the intensity; Rhodes saved the day.
The Bad	Harlock sucks; No movement on the power-play;
The Ugly	Vujtek got 150 stitches; Very hard to find the time left on penalties.

Sept. 13: Thrashers 3 – Blues 3

What you need to know :
Greatest comeback in Thrashers history!
Ferraro and Ferraro, who will make the team, organized the comeback;
Damian Rhodes stippoed 29 of 32 shots;
Always popular with the ladies, Botteril scored the oening goal.
 

The Good	After a let down last night, we came back strong;
The Bad	Potential scorer Snyder drops the gloves instead of a goon;
The Ugly	Yegorov and Vyshedkevich still in russia waitng to be bombed...

Sept. 12: Thrashers 0 – Blues 4

What you need to know : 16 shoots on goal;
Defense like a chicken w/ no head;
Good one day, bad the next: Get used to it;
Forget the game: Milos Holan played = victory.
 

The Good	Milos Holan played his 1st NHL game since Jan 96 after beating leukemia.
The Bad	Outshot 13-5 in 3rd period; No offense, no defense.
The Ugly	Power play 0-for-7 in 2 games.

Sept. 11 : Thrashers 3 – Predators 1

Where : in Comlumbus, Ga, att. : 5980.

Vantage point : Mother-Baby Unit, Crawford-Long Hospital / 790 TheZone

What you need to know : Schwab stopped 19 of 20 shots; >Dreger, Prochazka and Yake scored; Stefan did not play.

Period 1 : A lot of dead air while Ferrel was trying to figure out the name of the players. Dan Kammal was great. Adams seemed to be on every plays. He was rewarded with an assist.

Period 2 : Thrashers came out flat once the exitement of the first game wore off. Moreau vs Moreau : Moreau by unanymous decision. Vasilijevs was strong in front of the net

Period 3 : Thrashers came out strong and were able to build a 2 goal coussin with Yake’s goal.
 

The Good	A lot of enthousiasm in the crowd; Thrashers able to hold on to a lead. Offense better than expected without some big names.
The Bad	For the team with the most goons, we sure got beat up a lot.
The Ugly	Rambling Ferrel missed the first goal. Suggestion : try to paint a picture, not do your stand-up routine.
